You know I love dishing about Downton Abbey online. Now I will be chatting about it in person for a good cause and I hope you’ll join me. On March 23 at 11 a.m., I will be leading a lively discussion about Downton at the Carnegie Library Foundation’s Third Annual Luncheon. It will take place at the Newnan Country Club in Newnan, Georgia. Tickets are $25.00 with proceeds going directly to children’s and adult programming at the library.

Come out to get more tidbits about cast comings and goings, theories about season three’s shocking ending and what’s ahead in season four. I’ll also be offering Downton trivia and showcase GPB’s “Maggie Moments” video shorts, a compilation of of witticisms from Lady Violet, played by Dame Maggie Smith.

In addition to the lunch and talk, there will be an informal fashion show exhibiting this year’s spring styles and hot accessories. What could be more fun than Downton Abbey, a good meal and models showing off sensational clothes, all for a worthy endeavor?
