More suitors for Lady Mary? I hope so! Image courtesy Nick Briggs/Carnival Film & Television Limited 2013 for MASTERPIECE.

I am so glad Anna and Bates have patched things up. If it wasn’t for Mrs. Hughes interfering, I don’t know what would have become of that couple. Speaking of couples, now that Lady Mary’s chance to get together with Lord Gillingham is dashed, who else will she be paired with?

Let’s talk about it together as we watch episode five this Sunday. That’s right, ditch the Super Bowl for an hour to watch Downton Abbey and talk with us online instead.

The live chat starts at 8:45 p.m. The routine is that you watch Downton Abbey on your television set and chat with like-minded individuals on this site at the same time. (Scroll down to find the chat box.) Just a reminder that you won’t be able to watch the show online here on Sunday. But I will post the episode on this blog before 12 p.m. on Monday morning.

Here is a preview of episode 4. Apparently Isobel, Lady Mary and Tom are bonding over losing a spouse. It’s rather touching.
