Southeast Frozen Foods is re-opening the Cordele, GA plant

The Southeast Frozen Foods plant opened in Cordele, GA back in 1979; for over 25 years it was a source of good jobs in the South Georgia town.

Eight years ago the plant closed its doors for what most people thought was the final time.

Good news, Southeast Frozen Foods is open for business again and looking to hire.

According to a report from WALB.com, the company will fill 20-25 positions immediately.

"We want to grow and continue to grow because it creates more jobs for Cordele and that's good," said Plant Manager Tim Coleman. Expansions to the original facility are set to begin in early 2014.
