Atlanta, Denver-Boulder, Los Angeles and the New York Metro area lead job growth for tech jobs.

TriNet’s SMBeat Report, a monthly analysis of small business employment, confirms that technology jobs are still showing net job growth, specifically in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles and Denver-Boulder.

Atlanta leads net job growth at 3.31%, followed by Denver-Boulder at 1.69%, Los Angeles at 1.55% and the New York Metro area at 1.10%.

Georgia Tech’s Venture Lab was recently ranked as the No. 2 Incubator out of 150 university-based systems in 22 countries . This undoubtedly has been a contributing factor for Atlanta’s recent growth in the tech sector and the ability of entrepreneurs to find funding.

In addition, the report states that the average annual salary of tech workers across the nation is $105,000, second only to the national Life Sciences average at $108,000.
