Shrivallabh Pittie Group is a cotton yarn textile manufacturer that will have its first plant in Screven County.

An Indian textile manufacturer, Shrivallabh Pittie Group, is building its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Georgia creating 250 jobs and investing $70 million announced Gov. Nathan Deal.

Their new plant will be in Screven County Industrial Park near Sylvania. The plant will manufacture a range of different counts of carded cotton yarn.

“The decision by Shrivallabh Pittie Group to locate its new facility in Georgia is an example of how our state is quickly becoming the No.1 state for companies to do business,” Deal said. “The company’s decision to build its first U.S. facility in Georgia underscores our attractive infrastructure and diverse talent pool.”
