Soccer in the Streets helps at-risk students discover opportunities available to them.

Thirty at-risk teenagers who have participated in and graduated from the “Soccer in the Streets” program will be volunteering at the North American Soccer League 2013 Championship Game here in Atlanta on Saturday, November 9th.

Soccer in the Streets is an Atlanta area program helping at-risk teens learn personal responsibility and job readiness skills. The participants come from communities without many job prospects except for low paying service jobs and experience minimal quality of life. They are given an opportunity to improve their prospects through the Soccer in the Streets program.

“This is a fantastic program that has helped put a countless number of at-risk kids on a path to a better future and we are honored to partner with Soccer in the Streets,” said Atlanta Silverbacks General Manager Andy Smith.
