There are certain U.S. cities that are more promising than others for finding employment. Jacquelyn Smith of Forbes, informs job seekers which cities are most attractive (and least attractive).

“These three cities, D.C., Hartford and Atlanta, have a lot going for them economically and are homes to strong core industries that are recognized forces in hiring,” states Tara Sinclair, an Indeed economist. “Atlanta hosts many corporate headquarters across a variety of industries; Hartford is an insurance and finance hub in the U.S.; and our nation’s capitol offers access to highly sought government consulting and lobbying roles.”

The top five easiest cities for finding jobs are as follows:

1. Washington D.C.

2. Hartford, Connecticut

3. Atlanta, Georgia

4. Boston, Massachusetts

5. St. Paul, Minnesota
