Gulfstream's new distribution center will operate 365 days a year.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has announced another expansion in Savannah.

The company is building a new 400,000 square-foot product support distribution center in the NorthPort Industrial Park and is expected to break ground immediately, reports The Savannah Morning News. The new center will allow for more than 300 employees and approximately $900 million in parts and materials.

"This state-of-the-art center will allow us to distribute parts not only here - to the world's largest general aviation parts and service center - but around the world as well," stated Joe Drake, Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities for Gulfstream.

Gulfstream, headquartered in Savannah, has approximately 13,500 employees, with 9,500 employees in the Savannah location. There are currently over 100 job openings within the Savannah and Brunswick areas.
