The DJJ offers a one-time Military Salary Increase Incentive to those who have served on active duty.

The Department of Juvenile Justice is participating in several job fairs this month. The department is hoping to attract veterans and other qualified applicants looking for full time employment in the areas of administration, transportation, communications, probation, IT, engineering, counseling, maintenance and correctional officers.

Commissioner Avery Niles states, "We're basically taking our Human Resources division on the road so we can offer these job opportunities directly to a talented, capable civilian workforce that's looking for full time employment right here in Georgia."

The DJJ will be at the following job fairs through the month of April:

Monday, April 7th: Dalton State College, Main Campus from 2:00 to 5:00 pm

Tuesday, April 8th: Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

Thursday, April 10th: Middle Georgia State College in Warner Robins from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Friday, April 18th: Spring Career and Academic Fair, G-Building, 80 Cohn Walker Drive in Warner Robins

Tuesday, April 22nd: Crescent Tech College in Griffin from 2:00 to 4:00 pm

Wednesday, April 23rd: Annual Spring Career Fair at Albany Technical College from 9:00 am to 12 Noon

Wednesday, April 23rd: Georgia Piedmont College DeKalb Campus at the DeKalb Conference Center in Clarkston from 2:00 to 4:00 pm

Wednesday, April 23rd: Southeastern Technical College at the Swainsboro Campus from 9:00 am to 12 Noon
