The color of your clothes during an interview say more than you know!

Think about it, when you choose what color to wear to work or a special event, it says something about you, doesn't it? If you wear bright summer colors you are most likely a happy go lucky person and if you are wearing black in the dead of summer in Atlanta, maybe you are more conservative.

So, what you wear says a lot about who you are and how you see yourself. When it comes to a job interview, what color should you wear to make the best first impression?

CareerBuilder recently published a survey containing 2,099 hiring managers and human resource professionals, they said wearing blue and black are the best colors to wear to a job interview and orange would be the worst.

When meeting someone for the first time, this applies to both men and women, it's best to wear conservative colors, such as black, blue, gray or brown. Bright colors like pink or orange signal more creativity which is great, but too loud for the interview process.

The hiriing professionals used in the CareerBuilder survey explained how they view different colors worn by candidates, check it out!
