The Great Eight.

At the beginning of the season, 405 schools in Georgia
dreamed of making it to the Georgia Dome and winning a state title.
160 schools qualified for the playoffs.
Just 40 teams remain, a great 8 in the five classifications.
And when the dust settles after Turkey Day, just a final 4
teams will remain in each class to battle it out for this years
state championships.

In class AAAAA GPB will broadcast the Dacula vs Walton game
Friday night at 8pm. The Walton Raiders come into this one
on a big time roll. The record, a picture perfect 12-0.
The Raiders have scored over 40 points seven times this year
led by talented running back Tyren Jones who has rushed for just
under 2,000 yards and scored 34 touchdowns. Defensively
the Raiders are also tough as nails, allowing just 9 points a game.

Dacula comes into this one with a 9-3 record and on a six game winning
streak. The guy that makes the Falcons fly is Rocky Capobianco.

Rocky has rushed for almost 1400 yards and plays both running back and
quarterback. Coach Jared Zito in his first year at the helm of the Falcons
has his team clicking on all cylanders and this will be a great quarterfinal
