If any of you watched Steve Nash Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks you would see the little engine that could continues to ROLL along. Nash gave himself an early birthday present by dropping a double-double on the Hawks in the form of 24 points and 11 assists in 99-90 win over Atlanta. Nash called the victory the Suns best effort of the season. After Tuesday's win in Milwaukee Phoenix is currently 11-14. Atlanta, now 16-9 suffered a season high 3rd straight loss. Head Coach Larry Drew will discuss his team's current fate later in the GPB Sports Blog. Back to the aforementioned birthday boy. If this was in fact Nash's final appearance in Philips Arena as Phoenix Sun he did himself proud. Nash has been the subject of NBA trade rumors. Speculation is the Suns are looking to deal the Vancouver B.C. area native to shed salary cap space as team looks to do a future makeover, and get younger. Nash, who turns 38 on Tuesday February 7, 2012 proves the saying that "Age is in fact just a Number" He defies it every time he plays. More with Steve on Monday night's performance and the significance of the win, plus his birthday later in the GPB Sports Blog.

Suns forward Channing Frye added 19 points in the Suns victory over the Atlanta. Both joined us on the GPB Sports Blog before their game in Milwaukee. Phoenix now is back home after winning two straight on the road. They host Houston at the U.S Airways Center on Thursday night.
