The Elite 11 Regionals are coming to Buford High School this Friday, April 20 from 4-6 pm. The Elite 11 Regionals are for top level rising senior quarterbacks and select elite underclassmen. Athletes must be pre-registered through ESPNHS.com to attend and no day-of-event registrations will be accepted.

Quarterbacks at these regional camps receive advanced, one-on-one instruction as the players rotate through different stations to learn useful drills before throwing routes to wide receivers. Each regional camp has an accuracy competition with top performers earning a spot in the final Elite 11 event to be held in Southern California this July. Some past Elite 11 quarterbacks include Aaron Murray, Zach Mettenberger, Star Jackson, Logan Gray, Matthew Stafford and Tim Tebow.

The following day, a Nike Football Training Camp will be held at Buford from 9 am - 2 pm. These camps are designed to help elite high school players with college potential advance their football and training knowledge in order to maximize their ability. Participants are taught position-specific and athletic performance drills designed by some of the top NFL football players and sports performance specialists. The NFTCs are one way to qualify for the annual "The Opening" presented by Nike football each July at Nike's Beaverton, Ore. headquarters.
