The Regular Season Wraps UP

Can You believe it? Where did the time go? The boiling hot days of August. The
sweltering days of September. The cool crisp days of October and the pressure packed
Friday nights of November.

This weekend is the final regular season game of the high school football season.
We have seen some great teams and some great players. Guys like defensive end Robert Nkemdiche of
Grayson,Quarterback Eddie Printz of Lassiter. And running back Tyren Jones of Walton.

This Friday we have another great matchup. Its the 7-2 Parview Panthers taking on the 7-2
Comets of South Gwinnett. A region title is on the line. Pay attention. If Parkview wins,
its over, the Panthers are kings of the hill. But if South Gwinnett pulls off the win, and Grayson
wins, Grayson is the region champ. But hold the phone, if South Gwinnett wins and Grayson loses to Brookwood
then South Gwinnett is the champ. There are alot of possibilities and alot of story lines.

Bottom line, its going to be a great game, with alot at stake, on Football Fridays in Georgia on GBP.

And then next week, its the PLAYOFFS! (insert Jim Mora Sr. voice) The Playoffs!!!

GPB will make our selection for the TV game of the week on Sunday around high noon and we will get
that information on the GPB website as soon as we can. Its going to be a great run to the state
championships this year in seven classifications and you can catch all the action right here
on GPB.

The road to the Georgia Dome begins next week, but 22 region titles will be decided this weekend,
one of them on Football Fridays in Georgia as Parkview takes on South Gwinnett.

I'll be watching.....you should to.
