The 2013 team dual wrestling championships took place over the weekend in Macon and predictably, the champions sit atop the latest wrestling polls. Class AAAAAA No. 1 Archer stayed atop the rankings after beating new No. 2 Camden County. The Wildcats took out No. 3 Collins Hill in the semifinals. The Eagles were No. 2 entering the weekend. Class AAAAA No. 1 Pope remained at the top of the polls after winning a second straight duals title. Class AAAA No. 5 Marist slipped down from No. 2 after Alexander finished runner-up to No. 1 Gilmer. AAA No. 1 Banks County tripped up former No. 1 Woodward Academy in the finals to also grab the No. 1 spot. Gordon Lee beat Holy Innocents’ in the Class A finals as those two teams find themselves No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
