Folic Acid May Help with Dementia

June 6, 2014 8:57am (EDT)

Folic Acid – Vitamin B9 – has been proven to help prevent Spina Bifida when taken before and during pregnancy. Other reports have suggested the vitamin, found in green leafy vegetables and often used to fortify other foods, may help in warding off or treating dementia.

The Mayo Clinic Alzheimer’s Caregiving Newsletter examines the facts.

All volunteers receive training, free parking and a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering.
