While other networks choose singing “idols” and “voices”, we’re looking for someone more significant to the classroom - the next big digital innovator - a digital rockstar who can integrate technology into lessons in a creative way; a tech savvy educator who thinks and acts outside of the box. Sound like you?

Then apply to the 2014 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator Program!

Here is what selected applicants will be awarded:

  • 100 selected applicants will join the prestigious PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators Program and receive one year of FREE professional development that includes:
  • Access to virtual trainings and exclusive resources focused on best practices in integrating digital media/technology
  • Invitations to special events
  • National recognition in press and online
  • Membership into a robust professional learning community

15 top applicants will also receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators Summit at PBS headquarters. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will provide hands-on training and the chance to network and engage with like-minded peers and industry thought leaders.

If you don't think you could win the award, think again. Last year three Georgia teachers were among the winners when it used to be called the Teacher Innovator Awards. Read about their stories now for inspiration.
