Preservation Hall was established in 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to preserve, perpetuate, and protect one of America’s truest artforms –traditional New Orleans Jazz. Operating as a music venue, a touring band, a record label, and a non-profit organization, Preservation Hall continues their mission today as a cornerstone of New Orleans music and culture.

For over 50 years, Preservation Hall Jazz Band had brought t life the sounds of New Orleans. Some of the original members hailed from the beginning of Jazz itself. The music that Preservation Hall Jazz Band plays has been passed down through the generations. Now they have written their first ever album of original material that both respects their traditions and takes them into the future!
