Temperatures are warming, the festival season is picking up, and I can almost hear Edward Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” on the air.

It’s graduation season – a time for celebrating achievements and looking ahead to what’s next. It’s also when commencement speeches full of advice start to filter through the news.

Graduation is a big transition in the lives of these young people. So we asked Brandon Smith about the advice useful throughout life (and life’s transitions) that he wishes he’d heard as he was starting out.

This week on Working on GPB RadioBrandon’s sort-of commencement address.
