The holiday season is all about giving. Maybe that’s gifts to family and friends. Maybe that’s time or charitable contributions.

Often this bleeds over to the workplace as companies take on projects for charities or encourage employees to donate to causes during the holidays.

With all the demands on your time and your financial resources this time of year, it’s easy to feel tapped out of both. But it is OK to decline to participate in your workplace philanthropic activities?
