Explore the Blue Water Challenge

The Explore the Blue Water Challenge competition is now open to grades 6-8. The Challenge encourages students to identify and research a local water-related issue, develop and implement an action plan that creates positive change and showcase their project by creating and submitting a short video.

Grand Prize:
U.S. domestic water-based adventure trip for one mentor and up to four students
$5,000 grant to school to continue work on Water Service project
$1,000 scholarship check for each student in first place team (up to four students)

Second Prize:
$500 scholarship check for each student in second place team (up to four students)
$250 Teacher Award

Third Prize:
$250 scholarship check for each student in third place team (up to four students)
$100 Teacher Award

All volunteers receive training, free parking and a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering.
