GPB Radio "Summer Listening Series"
GPB Radio
Monday, July 1, 2013 to Friday, August 30, 2013

Summer is officially here, and GPB Radio is providing the perfect way to get through the long, hot days with the "Summer Listening Series."

GPB is putting the "public" back into public radio by letting listeners vote on which new show they want to be added to the program schedule for the Monday-Thursday 2 PM time slot. The series will feature a different show each week beginning July 1 and airing through the week of Monday, August 26.

GPB will also host several "Summer Listening Series" events across the state with GPB Radio's on-air staff.

Listeners can post their feedback on the GPB Facebook page, tweet @mygpb, or email summerlistening@gpb.org. At the end of the listening period, the comments will be reviewed and the new program will be announced and begin airing the week of September 2nd.

GPB Radio is also soliciting feedback through a survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SummerListeningSeries.

Below are the programs - so vote for your favorite!

For more information on the programs, download the pdf file here.

All volunteers receive training, free parking and a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering.
