Stone Mountain isn't the only granite outcrop in our state. Just a few miles from their more well-known sister, Arabia and Panola Mountains are less-developed examples of the rare plant life that flourishes in what might seem a harsh, rock environment. We explore the ecology and recreational opportunities of Arabia and Panola Mountains and look at what's being done to ensure these areas are protected for future generations to enjoy.
