They're coming back to the woods of north Georgia and in some cases, they're coming out of the woods in search of new territories or an easy dinner. Don't panic, the bears are mainly after the garbage that we leave lying around. But once a bear has discovered garbage as a food source it does create a dangerous situation for people, property and the bears themselves.

Join us to learn about Georgia's growing black bear population and what we can do to help bears stay wild and free in the woods. Don't feed the bears.

Also we'll meet Mark and Delia Owens, two world famous conservationists who got their start right here in Georgia. Delia talks with Michael about the Owen's latest effort, a Grizzly Bear Recovery Project in the northwestern united states.
