Conservation is a full time job – for all of us who care about our earth and especially for those who have made it a vocation. For example, Georgia has one of the finest Conservation Ranger programs in the country. From patrolling Georgia's waters to rescuing hapless cavers – from protecting Georgia's wildlife to educating Georgia's children about outdoor safety, Georgia's Conservation Rangers are here to help.

Find out if you've got what it takes to be a ranger and get an inside look at the training and expertise involved. Then we'll spend an afternoon fishing with former President Jimmy Carter and talk about his passion and work for conservation in Georgia and around the world.

Finally, you'll get some great ideas and inspiration on how you can be a hero for conservation right now.
