Lawmakers took another step toward final passage of Sunday alcohol sales today.

Senate Bill 10 cleared its House committee. The bill allows local communities to hold a referendum to allow voters to decide if they want retailers to sell alcohol on Sundays.

Also, the Senate passed a resolution to study the amount of water that flows out of the state.
