Funding for the F 22 is dead in Congress. The US House scrapped funding for more F-22 raptors yesterday. This after the program took a major hit in the US Senate last week.

The fighter jets are built at Lockheed Martin’s plant in Marietta, Ga.

The decision could mean a loss of up to 2,000 jobs for Cobb County, but officials say they aren't too worried…. the program has three more years to go and Lockheed will make more of another plane at the plant, the F-35.
