A Georgia man is under arrest for what police call a dog fighting ring that may have involved as many as 29 pit bulls.

Antonio Monds was apprehended yesterday after he arrived in a wooded area in Talbot County. That's where the dogs were staked to the ground with three-foot logging chains tied around their necks.

A man who works near the site said some of the dogs have scars on their faces, all were without fresh food or water.
