Gruesome could describe new videos on Fort Valley State University's Web site, but they are a teaching tool.

The veterinary school has started Webcasting videos of its surgeries on animals. For example, right now you can watch a video of a stray cat named Duchess undergoing spaying surgery.

It’s a way for the school to attract potential students and promote proper care of animals.
