Georgia drivers have seen a spike in gas prices over the past week.

According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report this morning, the average for a gallon of regular unleaded stands at $2.56. That represents a jump of 15 cents from only a week ago. Georgia’s average has spiked 24 cents from a month ago.

The current mark for regular unleaded in the state is 11 cents less than the national average.
