The state's top political names outline their legislative agendas Tuesday morning. The annual Eggs and Issues Breakfast comes before the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

Governor Sonny Perdue and Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle are headlining the event in Atlanta. They’ll be joined by the newly-elected Speaker of the House. Republican David Ralston was elected and installed to the new post Monday during Day-1 of the General Assembly session. Ralston told reporters his top priority will be ethics reform, in the wake of the Glenn Richardson scandal and following resignation.

Today, GOP state senator Mitch Seabaugh of Sharspburg will unveil legislation that he says will clarify Georgia’s confusing laws governing where residents can carry weapons. Gun rights supporters are pushing to allow an estimated 300-thousand Georgians with gun permits to carry to more public gatherings.
