Georgia Toyota dealers have started getting parts to fix recalled parts for some of their cars.

Toyota has recalled millions of vehicles over problems with pedals catching on floor mats and sticking when drivers step on the gas.

Jim Mollica of Savannah's Chatham Parkway Toyota says, many drivers don't even know their cars are in a recall.

"We've hired new technicians," Mollica says. "We'll be open until nine o'clock during the week until we get caught up. We'll be open a full day on Saturday and a full day on Sunday for the next week or two."

Georgia dealers say, they expect a wave of customers after Toyota sends letters to more affected customers next week.

"We received the first set of parts by FedEx this morning (Wednesday)," Mollica says. "We'll be receiving them overnight every day for the next four or five days."
