Georgia drivers are getting a bit of a break at the pump.

The AAA Fuel Gauge Report shows an average price of $2.78 for a gallon of regular unleaded in Georgia.  That is down 5-cents in only a week’s time.

The national average is 8-cents higher at $2.86.

Lowest average prices in Georgia are found in Macon and Valdosta—a mark of $2.68 a gallon for regular unleaded.

The good news on prices comes tied to oil prices at a three-month low.
