The price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Georgia has dropped 3-cents over the past week—down to $2.62.

According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, that mark is 13-cents less than the national price.

Over the past month, the average gas price has risen 5-cents in Georgia.

The current lowest metro price is in south Georgia, where drivers in Valdosta are paying $2.56 for a gallon of

regular unleaded. Other metro averages include $2.57 in Augusta, and $2.59 in Albany and Macon.
