Camden County at St. Thomas Aquinas, Fla.
The defending Class 5A champions will take their show on the road to tonight as they take on one of the best teams in the state of Florida. Camden will come into the game with their Wing-T offense, which is something St. Thomas Aquinas doesn’t see much. The two head coaches (Jeff Herron for Camden and Aquinas’ George Smith) have won a combined nine state titles.

East Coweta at Newton
In their first-ever meeting, both teams are looking to get a crucial win to get a leg up on the Region 2-5A race. Newton running back Akeem Hunt is looking to build on his 127-yard performance against Newnan last week. East Coweta is having one of their best starts since 2001, starting this season with a 4-0 record.

Wesleyan at Pace Academy
Wesleyan takes its No. 2 ranking in Class A into a game against Pace Academy which, in its third season, has already set the school record for wins in a single season. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools and Wesleyan’s 15-game win streak within the region will be on the line.

Valdosta at ML King
This will be the second all-time meeting between the two schools, the first coming in the second round of the 2007 state playoffs which ML King won, 21-18. These are two prolific offenses with ML King ranking third in Class 5-A with 42.3 ppg and Valdosta ranks fifth at 37.8 ppg.

Ware County at Brunswick
In eight previous meetings Ware County is 6-2 against Brunswick, including five wins out of the last six games with a 10-0 shutout last season over the Pirates. Two weeks ago Brunswick played Valdosta tough, losing 64-62 in overtime in the state’s highest-scoring game ever. This is the first region game for each school.

Warner Robins at Northside (Warner Robins)
The No. 1 team in Class 4A, Northside-Warner Robins, faces archrival Warner Robins looking for revenge. Warner Robins won last year 21-20 after trailing 20-0 and leads the series 33-19, although Northside has won nine of the last 12 games. This is the first time since 1966 Warner Robins has been 0-4.

Eastside at Sandy Creek
This will be the first time these two schools have played against each other and it should be a classic with the lead for Region 4-AAA on the line. Sandy Creek is the No. 2 team in 3A and looking to win a 3A title after winning the 4A crown last year. Eastside reached the 3A semifinals last year and are ranked seventh in 3A.

Fitzgerald at Cook
It’s a battle for Region 1-AA supremacy as Cook looks to get some revenge on Fitzgerald who won last year's meeting 42-12. Cook has a dangerous quarterback in Zach Folsom, who averages 200 yards per game. Fitzgerald will try to counter that with a running back trio of Tevin Stewart-Gaulden, Scottie Griffin and Tolerance Shepherd.
