Georgia authorities say arson is to blame for a large wildfire that's engulfed more than 2,700 acres of swamp and forest near the Florida state line.

Investigators with the Georgia Forestry Commission are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of whoever started the blaze in rural Clinch County west of the Okefenokee Swamp.

Forestry Commission investigator Billy Leitch says state authorities found evidence indicating the wildfire was set, but did not give specifics.

The fire has been burning for two weeks. Forestry officials said Wednesday the blaze is 80 percent contained.
