State lawmakers will gather for Day-11 of the General Assembly Monday at the Capitol.

Last week’s activity under the Gold Dome included the move of legislation for Sunday alcohol sales, which cleared a Senate committee. The bill would allow for voters in individual communities to decide whether they’d allow Sunday sales in their communities between certain hours.

Of other action, the Senate voted to override former Governor Sonny Perdue’s veto of zero-based budgeting legislation. And a bill was introduced that would shorten the early voting period from 45 to 21 days for all elections.
