Georgia Tech’s athletic program has been put on 4 years probation and fined $100,000 by the NCAA for violations in its football and men’s basketball programs.

The school will not suffer a loss of scholarships and was not ruled ineligible for postseason games in either sport. But, the college sports’ governing body vacated the football team's final three games in 2009, including its ACC title game win over Clemson.

The basketball team had its recruiting days and official visits reduced over the next two seasons. The football team was cited for lack of cooperation with the NCAA investigation.
