Ware County fell to No. 10 in Class AAAA following its loss to Lowndes. I was tempted to take the Gators out altogether and throw in the Raiders of Mays, but Ware County’s schedule is a bit tougher than the Mays schedule to date. Should Mays keep winning, Raiders Nation will soon see its team in the top 10. The Mary Persons Bulldogs fell to Baldwin 20-7 to drop out of the rankings from No. 6. Undefeated Stockbridge moved in at No. 9. Lovett dropped two spots following a loss to Buford. Class A saw the biggest shakeup though after No. 1 Wilkinson County lost. Charlton County is the new No. 1 while Warren County and Clinch County fell after both lost. Athens Academy dropped out of the rankings following a loss while Marion County debuted at No. 8. Class AAAAA was unchanged after all the teams were either idle or victorious last weekend.
