Better Georgia, which calls itself a progressive advocacy group, has hired a plane to fly a banner over Georgia Tech’s Atlanta stadium on Saturday/today. The message will highlight problems with the HOPE scholarships.

It will say quote “Gov Deal broke HOPE.” It asks viewers to text the words “fix it” to the given number.

Georgia lawmakers have been invited to attend a football game at Bobby Dodd Stadium this weekend by Tech’s president.

Better Georgia says it’s targeting Governor Deal because he signed a bill to end full-ride HOPE scholarships for most Georgia scholars.
