A Republican senator won a victory over the president Monday — on the golf course.

U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss hit a hole-in-one during a round of golf with the president and two other lawmakers. The ace shot helped lead Chambliss and GOP teammate Sen. Bob Corker or Tennessee to victory over the Democratic duo of President Barack Obama and Colorado Sen. Mark Udall.

"I told him since I made the hole-in-one, he ought to give us everything we want on entitlement reform," Chambliss told reporters with a smile. That refers to legislation to change benefits like Social Security and Medicare.

The golf outing at Maryland's Andrews Air Force Base was meant to strengthen ties between the president and Congress.
