Corrie Dyke of The South Magazine and Molly Swagler of the Tourism Leadership Council share their tips for a great weekend in Savannah.

Corrie’s picks:

-A group of local artists will present their latest functional ceramic pieces at Whit’s End Gallery -- not on the walls of the gallery but on the dinner table. Friday, 6 p.m.; free

-Drink for a cause Friday night at Ampersand’s Pints for Paws to benefit One Love Animal Rescue. Purchase of a $15 keepsake t-shirt also gets you a pint of beer (or another drink), plus wear the shirt back to Ampersand in the future and get 20% off. Friday, 7-10; $15 t-shirt

-Bay Street Theatre’s production of the salacious musical Chicago opens Friday and runs weekends throughout August. Friday-Sunday, 7:30; $25

Molly’s picks:

-Celebrity chef Paula Deen will bring her national tour home to Savannah Friday with Paula Deen Live at the Lucas Theatre, where you might even have a chance to get in on the cooking. Friday, 7 p.m.; tiered tickets $30, $50, or $205

-The Savannah Voice Festival will host VOICES Out of a Hat Saturday at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church. The interactive concert involves randomly-chosen trivia questions, whose answers guide what songs will come next. Saturday, 3-4:30 p.m.; $25
