Anzar served as a writer and host for Physics in Motion. He is a neuroscientist at Emory University, where he develops pattern-finding algorithms for large brain datasets. Anzar is an advocate for public engagement in science and increasing scientific literacy in society. He was selected by the American Association for the Advancement of Science as a Mass Media Fellow, through which he helped scientists at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute communicate their research to the public. Anzar earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his PhD in Neuroscience from Emory University.
