Fenly spent more than a decade working as a news host for various news outlets in South Africa, including CNBC Africa. 

During her time at CNBC Africa, she covered financial markets. Her most notable work was her coverage of world icon Nelson Mandela's funeral, Paralympian Oscar Pistorious' murder trial and South Africa's 5th general elections. 

She is also a voice over artist and can do various accents. 

Fenly loves to travel and takes great delight in different ethnicities and cuisines. Her love for travel emanated from having a footprint in Libya, South Africa, India and now the United States.

Fenly is a member of the Asian American Journalist Association.
