Lori Klingler-Maffe received her doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Maryland and worked as an industrial research chemist for 12 years. After several years out of the work force, she became a high school chemistry teacher and taught for eight years in the Cobb County School System. For the last two years, she has worked at Kennesaw State University as a Clinical Assistant Professor of chemistry in the science education group.
