He's worked in public radio since 2007 — at WHQR in Wilmington, NC, Vermont Public, and New Hampshire Public Radio —and has won numerous AP and Murrow Awards. He earned his MFA in Fiction from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and his fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he now lives in Atlanta.
