The Peachtree Ridge Lions and the Norcross Blue Devils each entered Friday night’s Region 7-AAAAA tilt having lost last week to fall one game behind North Gwinnett in the standings.
Peachtree Ridge, home of the Lions, will travel to Norcross to face the Blue Devils. Peachtree Ridge High School is located near the old and very historic Peachtree Road that was constructed during the War of 1812.
Valdosta and Lowndes will get together tonight with both teams in the top 10. It will be the 49th time the “Winnersville Classic” has been played and this one is as big as any in recent memory.
