GPB And GaDOE Launch K-12 Remote Learning Plans For Teachers And Parents
Primary Content
We are excited to announce new content for Georgia Home Classroom! Content experts at the Georgia Department of Education have developed K-12 Remote Learning Plans for teachers and parents. These Georgia Standards of Excellence-based plans were specifically designed for use during these uncertain times as support for school districts, administrators, teachers, and parents who are working tirelessly to provide students with quality content.
“As some school districts offer full virtual instruction, and others provide a virtual option to students and families, we want to ensure they have the tools to implement distance learning effectively,” State School Superintendent Richard Woods said. “We are proud to partner with GPB Education to offer these standards-aligned remote learning plans as a resource for districts and schools.”
The plans are easy-to-use and include both “plugged and unplugged” activities. Remote Learning Plans are available in several content areas, including English/Language Arts, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Physical Health and Wellness, Social Studies, and Science.
Check back for more Remote Learning Plans in each content area as they are updated weekly.
