GPB Invites Educators To Share Their Voices In New Series "We Are Courageous: A PBS American Portrait Series for Georgia Educators"

GPB Education has joined forces with PBS' American Portrait to bring teachers "We Are Courageous: A PBS American Portrait Series for Georgia Educators." American Portrait is national storytelling project that invites us all to share our voices in response to a number of thought-provoking prompts. Share a video, a picture, or a text message online and be a part of this groundbreaking project. Submissions are available to view online and will also be used to create a documentary TV series.

Teachers are invited to join us live every Thursday in October at 4 PM ET. During the presentation, educators will discuss how the shared stories and educational resources from PBS American Portrait and PBS LearningMedia can help us build empathy and community, invite courageous conversations in our schools and classrooms, and inspire our students to share their own unique American portraits.
