Shatone LLC is a small manufacturing company in Whitesburg, Georgia. Without an internal human resources department, Shaton’s owner, Tony Neja, leaned on the expertise and guidance of the Carrollton Georgia Department of Labor office to help craft job descriptions and post them on the Georgia Department of Labor website. It took a personal touch by the DOL office to win over Neja, but after seeing the results of their partnership he’s become a true believer in collaboration. 

What you saw in the video was just one reason why Georgia has been rated the No. 1 state to do business four years running. A local small business needed help and someone from the government answered the call, and now a bright young engineer has a new career.
